House Approves Bill To Expand Chiropractic Care To Veterans
On May 24, 2010, the House of Representatives approved H.R. 1017, a bill that would significantly expand chiropractic care for military veterans and increase staff chiropractors in the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The price tag of this bill is approximately $46 million and if approved would mean that veterans at all 153 VA medical facilities would have access to chiropractic care.
H.R. 1017 was approved in the House by a vote of 365 to 6. The Senate introduced a companion bill.
