The AFGE Says: Explain It To Me, GOP

In response to the campaign of House Republicans seeking to expand the federal pay freeze, The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) will be rolling out a new ad campaign of its own this weekend entitled, “Explain It To Me, GOP.” The ads will feature real, live federal employees who ask the question: how will cutting our salaries help the economy?  Democrats have rejected the Republicans’ proposal which also includes cutting the federal retirement benefits and increasing the amount federal employees pay for their pensions.
